Bengaluru: In a thriller of a match, the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) emerged victorious and qualified for playoffs after they held their nerves in a nail-biting game against the Chennai Super Kings (CSK).

After the match, the internet erupted with various responses and memes. Few praised the team's effort, while few were focused on other things including the retirement of MS Dhoni, reactions of Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli.

An old video of Virat Kohli is also trending on social media. In the video Virat was seen motivating the RCB women's team, where he says, "There is a 1 percent chance and sometimes that chance is good enough. But what matters is are you willing to give absolutely everything that you have to make that 1 into 10, grow that 10 to 30 and eventually something magical might come out of it." The old message of the star batter rightly fits into RCB's journey in this IPL season.

Amid all of this what caught the eye of many cricketing fans was the voice of Ravi Shastri. The Indian former player has already secured a place among legendary commentators like Richie Benaud, Ion Bishop and others and has once again proved why he is deserving of the place.
From team India's T20 World Cup victory in 2007 to the recent RCB vs CSK match it is Ravi Shastri's commentary that made these special moments legendary.

Many would agree if we say, some iconic sightings in the history of cricket were made even more memorable with the voice of Ravi Shastri.

It was Ravi Shastri's voice when VVS played his special innings of 281 against the Australia, when Yuvraj scored six sixers, during the T20 world Cup (2007) final and when Tendulkar scored the first ever 200 in an ODI and it was Shastri when India won the ODI world cup after 28 years in 2011.
Yet again in yesterday's IPL thriller, it was the master commentator and fans could not keep calm over it. After the fantastic game, celebrations erupted in the RCB dugout and a video capturing raw emotions of players was put up by the official handle of IPL on social media.

The video featured the commentary of Ravi Shastri, where he says in his iconic style, "It's RCB who qualify for playoffs, It's a spectacular comeback and from nowhere they have made it to the last four."

Commenting on the post on 'X' a user wrote, "Only God knows how the great Ravi Shastri is there for doing commentary in all such great moments. A legendary passionate voice that we all love." While many others wrote goosebumps.
