Hyderabad: As internet erupted with memes urging India to avenge ODI World Cup-final loss against Australia in 2023, both the cricketing biggies will lock horns in what can be said as a must win game for Australia at the Darren Sammy International Stadium in St Lucia on Monday.

After the Afghan shock, the kangaroos are eager to reclaim their lost glory, while the confident men-in-blue look to maintain their unbeaten record in the ongoing T20 World Cup.
The match becomes more interesting as Australia's chances to go ahead in the tournament depend on the win. A wash-out or a loss will result in their exit from the ICC event. Whereas, a win in tonight's game will keep their hopes alive.
Looking at the previous matches at the stadium, the surface here is bowling friendly and the toss also plays a crucial role as more than 40 percent of the matches played at the venue were won by the team batting first. We can expect a low-scoring yet a nail-biting clash.
Both the teams as per their reputation are very strong on paper. With Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, SuryaKumar Yadav, Pant, Hardik team India's batting unit looks unbreakable, however, their form is a key concern and the team hopes the key batters, especially the opening pair will find their touch in this game.
With Warner and Head at the opening, and Maxwell announcing his arrival to form, Stonis's superb touch at the lower-middle order adds to the overall balanced strength of the team.
The bowling units of both teams also look equally strong with Bumrah, Arshadeep, Kuldeep on one side and Starc, Cummins and Zampa on the other.
However, team India will have a slight edge in the match due to their better pressure handling and perseverance as seen earlier in the tournament.
