Hyderabad: Team India ahead of their clash with Canada on Saturday have cancelled the practice session on Friday. The cancellation, according to reports, was due to the incessant rains and the subsequent flooding in Florida.

India is set to encounter Canada at the Central Broward Regional Park in Lauderhill, Florida, but the action is dependent on the mercy of the rain gods. The weather department said the rains will continue for a few more days. However, the men-in-blue are through to the Super 8 after registering a well fought win over the USA. There is rain threat to today's USA-Ireland match as well.
Meanwhile, reports stating the return of Shubman Gill and Avesh Khan are taking the internet by Storm. According to these reports, both the players will the join the squad after India's last group stage match against Canada. They are already part of the team's travel reserve. However, it is not certain as to whom they will replace.
