Championship Series tennis tournament: Solid start for Telangana

Telangana tennis players came up with some top level performances on the court as both boys and girls started their campaigns on positive notes in the Championship Series tennis tournament for U-12 and U-14 boys and girls being played at the Anand Tennis Academy in Hyderabad. In the first round matches of the U-12 girls, Telangana’s Nirali Padaniya, Abhaya Vemuri, Ammireddy Sreenidhi Reddy, Poka Ridhi Choudhary, Apurva Vemuru, G. Shivani and Tanvi Reddy Mandadi scripted comfortable victories over their respective opponents.

Meanwhile, in the U-12 boys first round, Praneeth Singh Bhati, Vineet Mutyala, Anirudh Nallaparaju, Anne Lalit Mohan and Yasharth Soubhari advanced to the second round with ease.
