Mumbai: Rohan Bopanna’s no-look over-the-head lob winner has astounded anyone who has seen the shot.
In a Davis Cup World Group Playoff encounter against Vasek Pospisil and Daniel Nestor of Canada, Bopanna and his compatriot Purav Raja lost 7-5, 7-5, 5-7, 6-3 in a game that stretched to four sets.
However, the Bengaluru lad mesmerised one and all with a peculiarly taken lob that left both Pospisil and Nestor stunned, as they saw the ball land inside the court, and trickle out for a point to the Indian pair.

Canada eventually went on to win the tie 3-2. Ramkumar Ramanathan and Yuki Bhambri were the only ones to win their respective rubbers, both of which were against Brayden Schnur.
