Surely, young actor Naga Shaurya is going through tough times. Apart from his flops, the actor has reportedly gotten another jolt. “He has taken over a project worth ₹ 17 crore since he was not happy with the director and the film got stuck midway,” says a source.

Producer Chintalapudi Srinivasa Rao has lodged a complaint against the actor in Telugu Film Producers Council. “Producers body found fault with the actor and met members of Telugu Movie Artistes Association and both the bodies understood the pain and anguish of producer,” adds source.

Going into details, Naga Shaurya expressed displeasure about the director of the film after working with him for a few days. Thereafter, discussing with the producer, he agreed to make the co-director of the film as director. “He worked for a couple of days and then again raised objections and didn’t turn up for shootings,” he points out. Repeated requests from producer Chintalapudi went in vain and he was forced to seek help from the producers council.

“If a producer lodges a complaint against an actor, the producers guild has to approach actors guild and both sit together to analyse the case and pass orders. They urged Naga Shaurya to takeover the project by paying the amount spent by producer and not to take up new offers, otherwise it will be difficult for him,” he concludes.

His films like Varudu Kavalenu Ashwathama, Lakshya and Rangabali failed to strike a chord with the masses.
