Kottayam: The judicial commission inquiring into the custody death of Rajkumar in Idukki district will seek another post-mortem of the body.

Justice Narayana Kurup, heading the commission said that there were inaccuracies in the current post-mortem report.

Justice Kurup, who collected the details of the case from the Nedumka-ndom police station on Saturday, said that all the circumstances that led to the death of Rajkumar will be thoroughly examined.

The delay in recording his arrest was a lapse, he said and added that what happened in between these days should be found out.

Before he was taken into custody by the police, the local people had attacked him.

That should also be investigated, he said.

The delay in conducting the medical examination is also under the purview of the judicial inquiry.

The commission will visit the Kottayam Medical College Hospital, Peerumade sub-jail and Kolahalmedu, he said.
