Dhanush unveils FL of GVP-Selva film

Director Selvaraghavan’s upcoming film starring GV Prakash Kumar has been titled Mental Manadhil, borrowing its name from AR Rahman’s memorable composition in O Kadhal Kanmani. Dhanush unveiled the first look of the film recently. The promotional image features GV Prakash and butterfly wings, presenting a striking visual metaphor for transformation and chaos that aligns with the film’s title. The contrasting colours employed in the design suggest a narrative centred on psychological duality and the inner conflict of the lead character.

Madhuri Jain, previously seen in Sivakumarin Sabadham, has been cast opposite GV Prakash Kumar. The film, produced by Prakash’s Parallel Universe Pictures, will also feature him as the music composer. Additional cast details remain undisclosed. As a composer GV Prakash had previously worked with Selvaraghavan in Aayirathil Oruvan (2010) and Mayakkam Enna (2011). Selva’s last directorial venture was Naane Varuven in 2022, starring Dhanush.
