Apple is set to launch the iPhone 17 Air, considered as the thinnest iPhone ever, along with the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max in September 2025.

Earlier, it was speculated that the iPhone 17 Air would be Apple’s most expensive iPhone, costing more than the iPhone 17 Pro. However, The Wall Street Journal reported that it will be cheaper than the Pro models.
The iPhone 17 Air will be replacing the current Plus variant in the lineup and it will be launched at the similar price of the Plus variant.
The iPhone 17 Air will provide an alternative option for consumers seeking a sleeker phone, though with certain compromises, reported The Wall Street Journal.
Bloomberg earlier reported that the iPhone 17 Air will be 2 millimeters thinner than the iPhone 16 Pro. The current iPhone 16 Pro is 8.25mm thick, and if the iPhone 17 Air is 2mm thinner, then it will be around 6.25mm thick, making it the thinnest iPhone ever.
As previously rumoured, the “iPhone 17 Air” will feature a 6.6-inch display, A19 Chip, Face ID, Dynamic Island, 48MP rear camera, 24MP front camera, 8GB RAM for Apple Intelligence, No Physical SIM card tray, single camera and Apple's 5G modem.
