Apple is expected to launch the next generation of iPad this year, and it is said to have two upgrades which enable the Apple Intelligence.
According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the upcoming iPad 11 will be powered by the A17 Pro chip and will be equipped with 8GB of RAM. The iPad 11 will not have many design changes compared to the iPad 10.
The iPad 11 will support Apple Intelligence, reported Gurman. This means that after the launch of the iPad 11, Apple’s AI features will be available on all current-generation iPads. Gurman expects the upcoming iPad to be launched in March or April this year.
Apple unveiled the last entry-level iPad (iPad 10) in 2022, which features the A14 Bionic chip and 4GB of RAM.
Apart from the iPad 11, Gurman, in his Power On newsletter, noted that the upcoming 11-inch and 13-inch iPad Air models will receive some improvements.
Apple is also expected to release updated Magic Keyboards for the iPad 11 and new iPad Airs. There are no updates for the iPad Pro until late 2025 or early 2026.
