Elon Musk's X Testing Free Access to AI Chatbot Grok

Social Media platform X is reportedly planning to open up its AI chatbot Grok to free users. Grok, built by Elon Musk's xAI, is currently available only to premium users.
According to a report by TechCrunch, users posted about a free version of Grok being made available to users and the media outlet confirmed that X is testing free access to Grok for users in New Zealand.
According to a researcher named Swak on X, there are limits for free users like 10 questions per 2 hours with Grok 2, 20 questions per 2 hours with Grok 2 mini and Analyse up to 3 images per day.
Additionally, the accountly should be older than 7 days and it also should have a phone number linked to it.
xAI's Grok-2 was launched in August with capability of Image generation, backed by Black Forest Labs’ FLUX.1 model andin October, the model was given the ability to understand images. Only the Premium and Premium+ users were able to access these features.
