As Apple is gearing up to unveil the next-gen Apple Watch this fall, rival Fitbit is not willing to be left behind, instead it wants to lead by bringing its own device ahead of Apple’s launch.
An image of Fitbit’s next smartwatch obtained by Yahoo Finance is doing rounds online.
The image is termed to be of an evolved version of company’s current product line, the Blaze.
According to Yahoo Finance, the smartwatch is codenamed “Higgis” and sports a colour display with 1000 nits of brightness similar to the Apple Watch Series 2. The device will house a built-in GPS chip and heart-rate monitoring sensor. It will come with the ability to make payments, ability to store and play music from Pandora and four days of battery life between charges.

Additionally, Fitibit may also launch a pair of Bluetooth earbuds, codenamed “Parkside,” alongside the smartwatch.
