Nu Republic Starboy: Tuck in and take it!

This has been a good season for audiophiles who are being offered excellent value in speakers and headsets. The latest to woo buyers who do a lot of listening on-the-move is Starboy from the Delhi-based Nu Republic which comfortable over-ear headpieces covered in soft faux leather that tuck in nicely to make a 200-gram travel companion.

The 50 mm drivers make for clear sound with good bass and the headphones do double duty -- as Bluetooth (version 4.2 ) wireless device with the option of a direct wire connection to the ACUX port. The rechargeable battery is good to go for about 7-8 hours and at the currently discounted price of Rs 1499, this is a sound value proposition.
