BenQ unveils TK800 4K HDR high brightness projector
TK800 claims to have high visual brightness, balanced colour performance and also features dedicated football and sport modes.
BenQ has launched the home entertainment TK800 DLP projector offering 4K with HDR10 enabled in the Indian market.
The projector features 4K 3840x2160 UHD resolution with 8.3 million distinct pixels that claim to have optimised HDR to enhance brightness and contrast range with one-step image optimisation and automatic HDR natural colour rendition. The company states, that the TK800’s 4K colour wheel achieves 92 per cent of Rec. 709 colour gamut in conjunction with 3000-lumen high brightness for projected picture quality in bright environments with ambient lightings such as living rooms and backyard parties.
TK800’s CinemaMaster Audio 2 sound system is upgraded with a wider frequency range and 5-watt power, utilising materials such as an aluminium driver diaphragm.
The TK800 additionally offers dedicated Football and Sport audio-visual modes, where Football mode promises to preserve natural skin tones with enhancing lush green grass, and Sport mode prioritises realistic skin shades and clear quality of the announcer’s voice and details such as squeaking sneakers, referee whistles etc. Lastly, the projector claims to have its lamp life for up to 15000 hours.
The TK800 4K HDR projector is priced at Rs 1.99 lakhs.
