Sony India unveils a range of wireless headphones

Sony has unveiled the world's first wireless splash-proof headphones with noise cancellation feature.

Designed with arc supporters, the WF-SP700N comes with a compact, one-touch-open charging case and have a battery life of up to 3 hours.

In a bid to boost its position in the audio space, Sony has launched its new lineup of headphones in India.

The new range of headphone include six models — WI-C300 (Rs 2,990), WH-CH400 (Rs 3,790), WH-CH500 (Rs 4,990), WI-SP500 (Rs 4,990), WI-SP600N (Rs 9,990), and WF-SP700N (Rs 12,990). All of these headphones come with NFC and Bluetooth connectivity and are optimised for use with Google Assistant.

Out of these, Sony claims that the WF-SP700N is the world’s first wireless splash-proof headphones with noise cancellation feature. Designed with arc supporters, the WF-SP700N comes with a compact, one-touch-open charging case and have a battery life of up to 3 hours. It also comes with a charging case which extends the battery life up to 9 hours. With an IPX4 rating, the WF-SP700N headphones are splash-proof.

Sony also brings out two standard wireless in-ear models, the WI-SP600N and the WI-SP500, to offer a range of sports headphones. The WI-SP600N model also has digital noise cancelling and sound quality technology. With this pair, one can keep listening for up to approximately 6 hours. The WI-SP500 offers up to 8 hours of battery life.
