Canon introduces new range of cameras, other accessories in India
The EOS 80D is the latest addition to our DSLR camera range, and the successor to the widely popular EOS 70D.
Mumbai: Canon recently expanded its product line with the launch of one new DSLR camera, the EOS 80D, two new compact cameras—the premium compact PowerShot G7X Mark II and the ultra-zoom PowerShot SX720 HS; one new lens, EF-S18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM, and a newly developed Power Zoom Adapter—PZ-E1 in India on Thursday.
The EOS 80D is the latest addition to our DSLR camera range, and the successor to the widely popular EOS 70D. This new DSLR camera takes imaging quality to a new level with new features such as an all-cross type 45-point AF system, DIGIC 6 image processor with a 24.2 megapixel APS-C size CMOS sensor, a higher ISO speed, as well as an improved video recording specification. The camera will be involved in available April onwards.
The PowerShot G7X Mark II features a large 1.0-inch sensor, as well as Canon’s new DIGIC 7 image processor making it the ultimate portable camera for discerning clickers. This product is expected hit the markets in May.
The PowerShot SX720 HS, which is powered by the DIGIC 6 imaging processor and offers an unmatched 40x optical zoom and video recording features in a compact and lightweight package. However, this camera will be available for purchase starting June.
The EF-S18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM lens is the first to offer a Nano USM focusing system for ultra-fast still image focusing, and smooth autofocus during video shooting. This amazing lens will be up for grabs from April.
Moreover, a new accessory was also launched along with the cameras and lenses. The Power Zoom Adapter PZ-E1 is a very unique accessory designed to offer smooth, and variable powered zoom at the flick of a finger.
Both the accessories are compatible with the EOS 80D as well as other EOS cameras.
