First Android Wear 2.0 device may be announced on Feb 9

Google in partnership with LG is set to launch a smartwatch come Feb.

If the information provided by prominent leakster Evan Blass is believed, Google’s next major addition of Android Wear will be introduced on February 9. A set of new Google smartwatch in collaboration with LG are on it way.

The information is based on “marketing material” provided by VentureBeat. However, Google hasn’t responded to any of these rumours yet.

The Android Wear 2.0 will go on sale immediately after the announcement and is expected to sport a circular design. The smartwatch is also expected to include higher capacity battery, more RAM, GPS, NFC for Android Pay, heart rate sensor and built-in cellular connectivity.
