The company says that the Flip can be used in meeting rooms and other collaborative environments. Users do not need a specialised touch pen to interact with the screen and can erase notes through a quick palm swipe. The new digital board support the passive touch technology, meaning users can use any pointed object as a pen.

Flip users also can access up to 20 pages of writing space, with embedded search functionalities available to instantly direct participants to specific content. This digital display supports four participants in sharing and annotating content. All the data and other files are stored in a central database. Moreover, there is also a password-based locking system for every file.
