Nikon launches new DL series cameras with one-inch sensors

All three new cameras are equipped with a 20.8-megapixel version of the 1-inch 'CX' sensor.

New Delhi: Japanese multinational corporation Nikon has said that it is launching a line of compact 4K cameras outfitted with one-inch sensors.

According to media reports, the DL series consists of three premium compact cameras the DL18-50, the DL24-85, and the DL24-500, and each one is named after the incorporated lens.

All three new cameras are equipped with a 20.8-megapixel version of the 1-inch 'CX' sensor. With the release of three different cameras, users have the can go for any one according to their lens preference.

The DL18-50 features a wider angle zoom lens while the DL24-500 is a macro shooter with an amazing 2.3-million-dot electronic viewfinder, and a 3.5mm microphone jack. These features are exclusively available on the DL24-500. 

The new cameras also come with Nikon's VR image stabilization.
