The Travis team is aiming towards international professionals and travellers who can now go global and speak local.

Travis will make a world debut at the MWC next week. The device is a palm-sized AI-based voice translator that can convert 80 different languages for you. So you can soon imagine turning up at almost any country and speak their local language within seconds.

Travis is an instant voice-based language translator device created by a 3-continent collaboration from Rotterdam (Netherlands), Boston / New York (USA) and Shenzhen (China), who have collectively shipped over 10 million devices. The Travis team is aiming towards international professionals and travellers who can now go global and speak local.

Travis will be available for a retail price of $199, while the company is offering a pre-order deal at just $99. Presently, there is not much information about how the device will be connected. Will it be GMS/Wi-Fi, internet-based or can one download the language pack before heading out is still to be confirmed. More information will be out post the launch next week.
