Do you remember Prynt? They unveiled a photo-printing case for iPhones back in 2015 on Kickstarter. Now, they have unveiled a newer portable photo printer, called the Prynt Pocket, starting at $150.

The Prynt Pocket can print photos directly from your iPhone without the need of removing covers and cases from your phone. All you have to do is download the Prynt app and slide the printer onto your iPhone. You can either snap a photo or choose an existing picture from social media or your camera roll. You can add special effects like filters, stickers, text and frames on your photograph, post which the image prints in about 30 seconds.

But the difference lies in the end product. Apart from printing physical photos, the Prynt app also creates pictures in the form of moving pictures, like iOS’ Live Photos, and store in its cloud storage. The Prynt app records a video and stores it in the cloud. After the picture has been printed, use the app to see the moving photo or share it on social media.

The printer uses Zink’s inkless paper, eliminating the need for ink cartridges. The printer can hold 10 sheets of paper at a time, with a set of 40 sheets costing $20. The Prynt pocket works with iPhones as of now, with a support for Android later in the year.
