HP has announced the next version of their flagship gaming laptop series — the Omen X. This gamer sports ultra-high-end hardware with a 17.3-inch 120Hz full HD display (4K option available too), and powered by an Intel Core i7 7820HK CPU with up to 32GB of DDR4 RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080/1070 GPUs, up to two SSDs in RAID 0, one HDD, 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Gigabit Ethernet, Type-C and Type-A USB 3.1 ports and one mini DP port.

All this will be integrated within a well-built, yet bulky frame weighing you down by a whopping 4.9kg and starting at a price point of a massive $2,299 (approx Rs 1.54 lakh). To make gamers happy, HP also includes the RGB LED-backlit programmable keyboard, DTS Headphone X enhancements, speakers by Bang & Olufsen, and a cooling system featuring a vapour chamber and four 3.5-mm heat pipes that transfer heat to four radiators.

The laptop will target gamers who wish to obtain a laptop that can be overclocked for maximum performance with user-upgradeable options.
