Patented! Google working on a camera-hat?

Google's latest patent suggests that the search-giant might be developing a camera-hat.

Update: 2017-03-02 07:02 GMT
In 2014, Google had launched its 'Android One' programme, partnering with handset makers, to launch high-quality, yet affordable Android devices for consumers in emerging markets like India.

Search giant Google has been granted the patent that might give Snap Inc’s Spectacles a serious competition.

The patent is described as “a hat and a camera system for the hat that can be used for an interactive session with a remote user.” In other words, the product will basically be a cap with an embedded camera that allows users to record videos and click pictures to upload them on different social media platforms.

The patent further adds that the product will come with a built-in speaker which is “configured to create audio waves through the hat by bone conduction in the skull.”
