Facebook has started allowing users to search an archive of political ads

If ads were not enough, Facebook has rolled out ads for games which let you play the demo without having to leave your feed. Called 'playable ads,' the feature allows game developers to serve ads which give you a taste of the real game before you decide to install it, Mashable reported.

"Facebook users will be able to interact with these playable ads and try out mobile games without even having to leave their Facebook newsfeed. There’s no download required to play the games in an ad," the report stated.

In addition to playable ads, Facebook has also introduced a new retention optimisation feature for game developers to help them monetise from in-app ads. "This will allow marketers to target users who are “most likely to re-engage,” or revisit the app to replay the game," the report stated.
