Last chance to buy OnePlus Loop VR headset for Rs 1 today
Users who had registered earlier for the June 3 sale are automatically registered for today's sale.
Fans who failed to get a hand on the Chinese smartphone manufacturer’s Loop VR headset on June 3 have a chance to buy it today at the same price starting 12 noon , which will also be the last chance to buy the headset before the grand launch of the OnePlus 3. The flash sale will begin at 12pm.
However, as mentioned earlier, the headset will be available to those who register for it on Amazon’s Loop VR page. Vikas Aggarwal, OnePlus’s India General Manager in a press release stated the availability of VR Loop headset for Re 1 to the registered members at Amazon on June 3 and June 7, 2016.
Users who had registered earlier for the June 3 sale are automatically registered for today's sale. However, at the time of writing this article, registration on Amazon’s website for the Loop VR was already closed. The sale will also be conducted via an app-only medium.
The company is giving away the VR headsets at a cheap price so that users all over the globe can enjoy the grand VR launch of the OnePlus 3 on June 14.
Moving on to the OnePlus 3, the next flagship from the OnePlus stable is reportedly scheduled to launch in June 14, and the OnePlus is rumoured to be at par with present rival flagship smartphones with an SD820 chipset, a 16MP camera, 64GB storage and NFC support.
OnePlus3 is pegged to come in two versions: one with 32GB internal storage and 4GB RAM; the other with 64GB internal storage along with 6GB RAM. The devices will either accompany a 3,000mAh or 3,500mAh battery.
The rumour mill also speculates that OnePlus will now include a fingerprint scanner in this year’s flagship along with a full metal body and Oxygen OS operating system based on Android N.
