Netflix is prone to large stock price swings as investors bet on the possible success of its mission to redefine television viewing around the world.

Many Netflix users opt for the ‘carpool’ approach where they have their family members and friends share an account with them. But apart from a smirk being the only differentiator, there was nothing that distinguishes a user’s personal profile.

Whether you have a quirky personality like Kimmy Schmidt, or are the perfect Dad-Steve to your friends, the one with style and hair on-point like Jon, or if you’re just a bonafide badass like Jessica Jones or Matt Murdock - Netflix’s new profile icon option brings various avatars to choose from.

In order to change your profile icon, you need to log into to your account, go to your ‘Manage Profile’ option, select your profile and take your pick from a line of characters. If you’re spoilt for picks, we have a little guide on how to make this easier.

For those who always smile:

If you’re the kind who likes to put a smile on your friends faces with a witty comeback, pump them up before a date or just be their sounding board on do’s and don’ts on a date night, then characters from ‘Big Mouth’, ‘Fuller House’ and ‘Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt’ define you.

For the mysterious soul:

If one of your quirks is to have a thick air of suspense looming over you, then you need to look no further than the strange pool of ‘Stranger Things’, ‘Okja’ or ‘A Series of Unfortunate Events’.

For the drama kings and queens:

If you’re the kind who enjoys a bit of friendly politics, banter with a serving of the ‘feels’, then characters from the ‘House of Cards’, ‘Orange is the New Black’, ‘Dear White People’ and ‘Queer Eye’ would define your personality type.

For the ones who love a good thrill pill:

If adventure and thrill are what defines you according to your friends, then we’re sure that you’re the daredevil in your group. For the thrill seekers and adrenaline junkies, your alter ego would be from ‘The Defenders’, ‘A Series of Unfortunate Events’ or ‘La Casa de Papel’.
