Social media giant has said that it will be deleting all previous photos that users had synced from their phone to Facebook, if they do not download the Moments app.

Earlier this year, the company had introduced the Moments app, which gathers all your photos and stores them in a single, secure place. It also helps you manage and share photos with your friends safely.

Coming back to the issue, now Facebook has given an ultimatum to users that users have to download the moments App and log in before July 7, if they wish to keep all their synced photos in tact.

However, if a user fails to do so, the photos will be automatically deleted; however, this won’t affect any photos or videos that you have uploaded or shared on Facebook.

Both Android and iOS users can download the Moments app from the respective stores.
