The Prisma app is receiving increasing prominence since its release in June this year.

The art filter app, Prisma was launched by Russian programmer, Alexey Moiseenkov in June this year. Within a span of two months, it topped the list of the most downloaded apps on both, iOS and Google Playstore platforms. Since then, Prisma has received several updates. However, the latest one seems more exciting than ever.

The app has now been updated with a picture cropping and a filter blending feature. Prisma now works super fast too, much to the relief of its users.

Cropping image support

Previously, the only activity you could essentially carry out on Prisma was to simply apply an art filter from the numerous offered to you. But now, you can not only crop the image but also, rotate it according to your preference. Pinch out or zoom in – either way, Prisma has made it extremely convenient for users to get their desired result.

Performance boost

Does Prisma seem to always test your patience when you apply a filter? Well, there’s good news for you. One no longer needs to wait endlessly for their art work to be prepared. The recent performance boost that Prisma received has enabled the app to function more quickly than ever before.

Split effect

The split effect, unfortunately, is only available for iOS phones. One can apply two different filters to the same image by splitting them into two halves or more.

We are also expecting the video editing feature on Prisma soon. You can download the updated Prisma app on iOS and Android playstore platforms today.
