Now 'Paint' a Video
After giving a fresh comic book feel to photos, Prisma is now available for videos.
Prisma is now on video. Giving a fresh comic book feel to photos, the app now has video support on iOS. The animation-like effects are possible on videos of 15 second duration recorded either on the app or accessed from the video roll. The user can choose any of the nine filters made available to style their video. In the following months, the company is expected to increase the number of styles. The Prisma video works on iOS 10. Length of the video, resolution and model of the phone are all contributing factors while deciding the time consumed to ‘paint’ the motion picture.
Launched in iOS in June, Prisma was later taken to Android a month later. It shot in popularity with millions of downloads recorded the world over in this short span. The app uses neural network processing and deep learning algorithms to work up the painting like effect on the photos, some of them inspired from world renowned paintings. This being so, the video feature may take some more time to be available on Android platform.
Leaving hints that an offline photo processing facility in Android is in the offing, a GIF creator from Prisma is also making the rounds.
