Meet on water recycle, conservation and reuse
Srinivas spoke about the various methods of water treatment, water recycling and sewage treatment plants.
Visakhapatnam: Indian Plumbing Association Visakhapatnam chapter has organised a first of its kind water conservation and plumbing standards meet and expo at the AMCOSA auditorium here.
After inaugurating the expo, HRD minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao lauded the efforts put in by the Indian Plumbing Association Vizag chapter for organising this type of seminar on water conservation, recycle and re-use of water which is need of the hour for everybody to adapt. He emphasised that both the Centre and State are taking various measures for water conservation throughout India and organising such events is in line with the government plan.
The minister inaugurated the exhibition, visited all the stalls exhibiting the plumbing products, pumps, piping material, cp fittings, sanitary fittings of Granados, Hind ware, Jacquard, Jain irrigation, Sudhakar Pipes and other manufacturers and dealers.

Srinivas spoke about the various methods of water treatment, water recycling and sewage treatment plants. He expressed sadness regarding the unfortunate situation that not many STP, WTP plants are maintained properly which can even cause deaths due to poisonous gases produced in sewage treatment tanks.
This is due to lack of knowledge, awareness and proper maintenance. The president of IPA Vizag chapter, K. Leela Prasad, stressed the need of the hour for everyone to adapt to water conservation methods.
