LinkedIn is among the most popular job-scouting websites at the moment. However, it appears like Facebook will soon be entering these waters.

The social media giant published a post on their website, announcing their support for job listings on company pages, starting with the US and Canada in the next few weeks. “We're focused on building new ways to help make it easier for businesses to interact with the over 1 billion people visiting Pages every month. Businesses and people already use Facebook to fill and find jobs, so we're rolling out new features that allow job posting and application directly on Facebook,” the post read.

The best part about Facebook’s new service is that it can automatically fill in a form with details from the user’s Facebook profile, and they can subsequently hear back from their potential employer through Messenger.

Moreover, relevant job listings will be showcased on the user’s News Feed if they’ve liked a company’s page. The companies too, can pay to increase the visibility of their listings.
