Xiaomi's new mid-range spotted, called Xiaomi 5X

Xiaomi could be soon planning to launch a new sub-brand which will take on brands like OPPO and Vivo in offline markets. According to recent rumors, Xiaomi has not yet revealed the name of its upcoming sub-brand. However, a leaked image of the poster has suggested that the Chinese manufacturer will be looking to launch a smartphone called the Xiaomi 5X. Key specifications of the smartphone have also been revealed and being reportedly launched under the sub-brand.

Leaked images have suggested that Xiaomi 5X could be featuring 5.5-inch full HD display. It will be powered by Snapdragon 625 chipset and 4GB of RAM. The image does not feature a rear-facing fingerprint reader, it is expected to feature a front mounted one.

The leaked image also shows that the Xiaomi 5X will cost 1999 Yuan (~$290).
