Intel unveils its ready-to-fly drone
Intel introduced numerous inventions at the Intel Developer Forum that took place on Tuesday.
Intel’s 2016 Developer Forum kicked off on Tuesday, welcoming the viewers with the title, ‘Inventing the Future: The Power of a Smart and Connected World.’ As promising as it sounds; there were numerous innovations that were unveiled for the audience.
Among the many was Intel’s hardware product, a ready – to – fly drone especially aimed at software developers. The drone runs on Intel’s Aero Compute Board with a Linux operating system. It comes with RealSense for vision and AirMap to direct users towards safe and legal locations. Further details regarding the drone will be revealed with time.
It will be available for purchase by the end of this year. Intel has not, however, announced an official on-sale date or price.
