Driverless buses being tested in Finland

Finland is currently testing autonomous buses on public roads.

Ford recently announced its big plan of bringing autonomous vehicles on street by 2021. While, we were basking in the excitement of this news; Finland has already released a fleet of driverless buses on its public roads.

The bus, called EZ10 by EasyMile, is being tested on the streets of Helsinki, Finland. It is built for short-range travel at a max speed of a little over 6 miles per hour.

If all goes well, the vehicles will supplement existing mass transit networks. The test will run until mid-September.
