Interested in making GIFs? Google's Gboard on Android will allow that
Gboard will allow users to record short video clips as GIFs and send it on messengers.
Google’s Gboard has lately turned out as a very practical and feature-rich keyboard app without putting stress on the system. Google has been constantly pushing out updates to enhance the user experience, the major one being the ability to search and send GIFs on messaging apps. And to enhance the ‘GIF-ing’ experience further, Google will now let users create their own GIFs.
A report from The Verge states that Google will be rolling out an update that will enable users to create their own GIFs directly from the keyboard. The button will be moved to the front beside the word suggestion box. The option will allow for users to record short videos as GIFs through front and rear camera. Users will able to put the short clips either in loop videos or Fast Forward.
The GIF making feature has been available to iOS users since the beginning. Google had taken some time to roll out the keyboard for Android; the same stands true also for features. Until now, Samsung’s Note 8 keyboard allowed users to create GIF’s through using the S Pen. The Gboard app allows users to search stuff directly on Google, includes support for multiple languages and swipe-gestures as well.
