Jio slashes prices, offers 1.5GB per day for Rs 98 for 28 days
The premium Rs 399 plan will now provide 1.5GB per day instead of 1GB per day to challenge the current competition.
Jio as part of the Republic Day offer slashes Rs 50 on the existing tariffs and adds 50 per cent more data on its plans. Jio also introduces a new Rs 98 tariff, which offers 1GB of data per day along with free voice calls and messages. The company says that their plans are priced up to Rs 50 lower than the competition and provide 50 per cent more data at similar price points.
While the Rs 98 tariff is launched to gain new consumers, Jio also offers 50 per cent more data for all existing 1GB per day packs that are increased to 1.5GB per day. For the 1.5GB per day packs, the datacap has been increased to 2GB per day.
The Rs 399 plan will now provide 1.5GB per day instead of 1GB per day to challenge the current competition. These plans have been launched ahead of Airtel’s recent tariff changes.
These new tariffs will be available from 26th January 2018.
