Mumbai: Consumer tech giant Xiaomi launched two new Mi TV 3S variants back home in China yesterday. While the first model is a 65-inch curved 4K model, the other one is a smaller 43-inch FHD flat screen model.
The flagship 65-inch curved 4K model seems to be an amazing device which is powered by a 1.4Ghz Mstar 6A928 TV processor with Mali 760 GPU, 2GB RAM along with a massive 8GB internal memory.
Interestingly, the Samsung was responsible for designing the huge 4K-curved panel for Xiaomi’s 65-inch Mi TV 3S, and it looks great!
With a thickness of only 5.9mm, the device does not come along with integrated speakers. However, the company has included an external 6-piece sound system in the shape of the Mi TV bar along with the TV. You can always go for a cheaper option and exclude the Mi TV bar if you are on a tight budget.
Moving on to the smaller variant, the 43-inch FHD model is a little significantly thicker at 10.9mm. The display on this smart TV is powered by Mstar 6A908 processor, 1GB RAM, and 8GB internal storage.
This variant also employs Dolby and DTS dual outputs. Both the TVs run on Android with the company’s proprietary MIUI on top.
While both the TVs make amazing additions to Xiomi’s product line up, the company should look forward to plan to launch both the smart devices in India soon.
In China, the 65-inch 4K curved glass Mi TV 3S will be available for CNY 8,999 (approximately Rs 92,400) and the smaller 43-inch TV will be available at just CNY 1,799 (approximately Rs 18,500).
