Redmond-giant Microsoft launches ‘Netflix for games,’ or originally known as the ‘Game Pass’ service that will offer users with up to 100 Xbox One and Backward Compatible Xbox 360 games. The company will update its catalogue of games each month and will even provide users with the option to download the games provided that they stay subscribed to the service.

“On Thursday, June 1, Xbox Game Pass will be available for all users,” Microsoft said. “We know that a gaming subscriptions service is only as good as its catalog of titles, so we’re also excited to share the full line-up of Xbox One and Backward Compatible Xbox 360 games that will be available through Xbox Game Pass,” the company added.

The current line-up of games includes Halo 5 and Gears of War 2 among others. The company said the list will continue to grow over time. “Each month, Xbox Game Pass will add a new set of games to the catalogue so there is always something new to play across a diversity of experiences, genres, ratings and more,” the company said.

Game Pass will be available for everyone in June, however; Xbox Live Gold subscribers will get early access to the service starting 24th May, 2017.
