Samsung's new auto-reply app wants you to drive without distraction
The app is currently in testing stage and will be available in Google Play Store from mid-May.
None can deny the risk involved in distracted driving. One if the major cause of distraction while driving is the use of smartphone that can lead to accidents.
Samsung is trying to combat risks through a new app called In-Traffic Reply to help people avoid using smartphones while driving a car or bike by automatically sending present replies conveying you are “driving at the moment.”
The app will automatically activate when it detects the user is riding a bike or driving a car through the smartphone’s sensors such as its GPS. Users can choose to send the default reply (“I’m driving, so I cannot answer at the moment.”), a fun, animated response, or their own customized pre-set message.
The app is currently in testing stage and will be available in Google Play Store from mid-May.
