2 companies tie-up to offer adult VR content in hotel rooms
The VR industry is rapidly expanding into different folios and it is expected to become a $30 billion business by 2020.
Mumbai: In a bizarre move, a virtual reality porn company has tied up with a headset manufacturer to offer headsets loaded with adult porn content in hotel rooms across Las Vegas.
According to VentureBeat, a VR porn company VR Bangers in collaboration with Auravisor’s wireless VR headset technology will offer ‘immersive porn’, under the banner ‘VR Bangers Hotel Experience’.
The VR industry is rapidly expanding into different folios and it is expected to become a $30 billion business by 2020; porn is expected to generate a greater chunk of capital among all other fields of usage.
The report also said that the VR porn experience will cost customers around $20 and only credit card purchase will be applicable.
According to the company, the user will be given an option to choose between a girl and guy of your choice; consequently the room will be replicated in the VR headset, which will make the experience much more realistic.
After completing the initial steps, the user will hear a knock on the door (virtually) and the selected guy or girl will enter the room to give the user a sensual or erotic experience. Cool, right? Or should I say…well, let it be.
Moving on, both the companies are excited about the venture and hope that their trials in limited hotels in Las Vegas pick up pace so they aim scale larger roll-outs as VR porn gains popularity.
