Apple is reportedly working on a new iOS feature that will show the users how long it will take their iPhone to charge.
9To5Mac spotted the feature in the code of iOS 18.2 beta 2 which was released to developers on Monday.
According to a report by 9To5Mac, the new feature called "BatteryIntelligence" will calculate the estimated time to charge the iPhone, based on the amount of energy received by the device.
Users will have an option of receiving a notification along with estimated time to charge the iPhone to 80%, the report said. The feature is not yet enabled and it is still unfinished. The iOS 18 already has new battery health features like limiting maximum charge to 80%, 85%, 90% or 95%.
iOS 18 comes with a lot of new features to the iPhone and more features are yet to arrive with the future software updates.
Apple recently released iOS 18.1 with Apple Intelligence and it will release iOS 18.2 in December with new Apple Intelligence features which includes much anticipated ChatGPT integration, Genmoji and Image Playgrounds.
