However, job postings shared by Rockstar Games’ talent acquisition specialists on LinkedIn suggest a 2025 launch date for this highly anticipated game.
Rockstar Games has been actively recruiting on LinkedIn. In a LinkedIn post, Georgio Jankowski, a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist at Rockstar Games, shared the company’s careers page and expressed excitement about the upcoming year, stating that 2025 promises to be “one of the most thrilling years ahead here at Rockstar.” The post concluded with an image featuring the GTA 6 logo, captioned “Coming 2025.”
Eilidh MacInnes, a Talent Acquisition Specialist at Rockstar Games, also shared job openings in the Technical Art team at Rockstar across UK studios on LinkedIn. The post included an image saying that GTA 6 would be released in 2025.
Earlier, Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier predicted a 2026 launch for GTA 6. However, Rockstar Games’ staff hinted at a 2025 release. If there’s a delay, the announcement will come from Rockstar Games’ official channels.
As per a report, Take-Two Interactive, the parent company of Rockstar, will host its next interactive earnings call on February 6, 2025. GTA fans eagerly anticipate an announcement regarding the release date of GTA 6. While previous earnings calls in 2024 failed to provide any new information about GTA 6, the company reiterated on 2025 release window.
Rockstar Games released the first trailer for GTA 6 a year ago, which garnered an impressive 233 million views at the time of writing. This significant viewership underscores the game’s popularity and the immense anticipation among gamers for its release.
