Samsung Galaxy S6 gets android Marshmallow 6.0
Samsung has started rolling out the firmware update for its present flagship models

Samsung’s flagship models, the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge will be receiving its new firmware update featuring the latest android operating system update, the Marshmallow 6.0.1. However, the update is now only available for South Korea. The release will follow a breief beta test program and users will be allowed to test the beta Marshmallow firmware.
As for now, Samsung’s Galaxy S6 edge+ and Galaxy S5 are not yet confirmed to receive the update. Neither has any other market around the world confirmed to get the Marshmallow update any soon.
Presently, the S6 models are riding on Android Lollipop v5.1.1.
