Oppo teases the F9 again with two new images
Oppo has once again taken to social media to tease its upcoming smartphone.
A couple of days ago, Oppo teased the F9 with an image of a waterfall and with it the subtle nod towards the redesigned notch. Oppo has once again taken to social media and teased the handset. From the images, we can gather that the handset will feature this redesigned notch. The images this time around show a beach with the tide coming in and an underwater cave with a rock positioned to mimic the triangular notch.

However, what’s interesting to note is that all images have feature a water theme. This could indicate that the handset will feature some sort of waterproofing or may come with an IP67 certification. As per a report by GSMArena, the Oppo F9 could come with a 25MP front facing sensor since the F-series handsets are selfie-oriented.
Earlier, Oppo teased the Pro version of the handset, the F9 Pro and the brand also previewed the front of the handset and in the process showing off the redesigned notch. The F9 Pro also happens to be the first non-flagship smartphone from Oppo to feature VOOC charging. The handset will also have a dual-rear camera that’s horizontally stacked. As of now, there is no word on any of its other specifications, but more will be known closer to its launch date.
