Xiaomi Redmi Pro comes with some respectable features at a reasonable price

Xiaomi is preparing to launch a new Redmi phone, purported to be the Redmi Pro 2, featuring up to 6GB of RAM, and 4500mAh of battery.

The Redmi Pro 2 smartphone is rumoured to be launched in two models—4GBRAM/64GB ROM and 6GB RAM/128GB ROM, at a price of $230 (approx. Rs 16,000) and $260 (approx. Rs 18,000) respectively. In a report by GizChina, the smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm 66x processor and a 4500mAh battery. The smartphone will have a 5.5-inch full HD display, a 12MP Sony IMX36 sensor and Dual Pixel auto-focus. Whether the smartphone will run on Android Nougat is still unclear. However, it is expected to feature Google’s latest operating system.

Xiaomi has not yet made any official statement about its next smartphone under Redmi brand.
