Over the last couple of days, leaks of the upcoming iPhone 11 have taken on a whole new dimension as CAD renders of all three handsets have surfaced. In the past, we have heard rumours, mock-ups and even case renders of the new design that will feature on the upcoming iPhone but this is the first time there are CAD renders from the reputable SlashLeaks

These CAD renders of the Apple iPhone 11 series are most likely sourced off actual product designs that have leaked from the company’s supply chain. These renders more often than not give us a great idea of what the final design of a device will look like. However, they can also be misleading if they are based on inaccurate, outdated or factually incorrect information.

Why we should take these designs seriously is because they fall in line with images that have previously surfaced. The iPhone 11 and 11 Max will feature a large hump on the rear that houses three cameras. The successor to the iPhone XR will also come with this bump but it will sport two cameras. All three iPhones will feature the notch on the front that’s present since the iPhone X.

Previously, reports surfaced claiming that the iPhone 11 will come with a 5.8-inch display while the iPhone 11 Max will feature a 6.5-inch screen. The iPhone XR’s successor that’s currently being dubbed the iPhone 11R will come with a 6.1-inch LCD display.

Reports also suggest that the next generation iPhones will feature bilateral wireless charging, a speedier A13 processor, and a redesigned mute switch. Reports also suggested that the handsets will sport a new USB Type-C lightning port however; the possibility of this is waning fast.
