14 Xiaomi devices to receive the Android Nougat update

Xiaomi recently rolled out the Android 7.0 Nougat based MIUI beta update for its Mi Max phablet. And the company will soon be updating 14 other Xiaomi devices.

GizmoChina reports that Xiaomi will be updating the Redmi 4X, Xiaomi Mi Max, Mi Note 2, Redmi Note 4X, Mi MIX, Mi 5, Mi 5s, and Mi 5s Plus with Android Nougat 7.0. While the Xiaomi  Mi 6, Mi Max 2, Mi 5c, and Redmi 4X will receive the Android 7.1 Nougat. Surprisingly the Redmi Note 4 has not been included in the list.

Xiaomi keep rolling out the MIUI updates time-to-time, but is sluggish when it comes to the Android updates. This should come as a relief to Xiaomi users making do with the older version of Android.
