Huawei’s sub-brand Honor is slated to launch Honor 8 Pro smartphone in New Delhi this week. The device was teased on the Amazon India portal stating July 6 as its launch date, without any revelation on its price tag, but with a “Notify Option” to keep buyers posted about the launch.
And now, just days ahead of the official the price of the Honor 8 has been leaked. According to a post by Rajiv Makhni for HT Brunch, the Honor 8 Pro is priced at Rs 29,999 for 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage option.
To recall, the smartphone sports a 5.7-inch LTPS LCD display with 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution and is powered by a Kirin 960 processor paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 256GB using a MicroSD card. The dual camera setup on the Honor 8 Pro comprises of two 12MP sensors with f/2.2 aperture, laser autofocus, LED flash and is capable of capturing 4K videos. For selfies, users get an 8MP front facing snapper. On the connectivity front, the device offers 4G LTE connectivity, Wi-Fi, USB Type-C, Bluetooth 4.2, and NFC. It is juiced by a 4000mAh battery and features a fingerprint sensor for added security.
