Microsoft introduces a Microsoft Surface clone
The new Miix 520 packs-in the 8th generation Intel Core processors ranging from i3 to i7 with 16GB LPDDR4 RAM and 1TB PCIe SSD storage.
Lenovo is one of the first companies that forayed in the 2-in-1 segment following the release of the original Microsoft Surface in 2012. And now the company is ready to unveil its Miix 520, a Surface rival with a detachable keyboard, a built-in kickstand, and a dedicated pen.
The new Miix 520 packs-in the 8th generation Intel Core processors ranging from i3 to i7 with 16GB LPDDR4 RAM and 1TB PCIe SSD storage.
The device sports a 12.2-inch display with 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution which is optimised for the Lenovo active pen bundled with the device. The Lenovo Miix 520 comes with LTE support, a feature missing from the Microsoft Surface. The Miix 520 also comes with the watchband hinge that was previously available on Yoga convertible laptops and has support for a microphone that enables voice commands with Cortana.
The device will go on sale starting October at a price of $999.99 and will be available in light and dark Grey colour options.
