Video: iPhone calculator has a 'secret' backspace

Instead of hitting C in the iPhone’s calculator whenever you mistype a number, users can simply swipe left or right on the calculator display panel to delete the last number you entered.

The swipe functionally adopted by the iPhone’s calculator comes in a handy way the next time Apple customers use their iPhones to do the math.

A twitter user, who goes by the name CENSORED dialogues, posted a video demonstrating the swipe functionality which has been in existence on iPhones since last five years, but known by none.
